Sharon Salzberg is a cofounder and guiding teaching of the Insight Meditation Society, a retreat centre in Barre, Massachusetts. She is also a cofounder of the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, which is dedicated to the integration of Buddhist teachings into modern culture.
