Workshop Room Rental

We rent our workshop facility for evening and full-day bookings. The room is accessible either through the store, or through a private entrance at the back of the building. It is equipped with 30 chairs, 12 cushions, a flip chart, 2 large fold out tables, a bathroom, a kitchenette stocked with cups, dishes, cutlery, a coffee pot and hot water urn for tea. We encourage people to not use disposable items if possible, and we kindly request that the space is left in same condition as it was found. The workshop space can comfortably accommodate groups of 12 – 30 people.
The evening rental period is from 6 – 9pm, and available 7 days a week. You may decide on the exact start and finish time, as we only book 1 group per evening. 
Evening Rental Fee: $85 + hst
Day rentals are available on weekends, and are generally scheduled between the hours of 10:30am – 5:30 pm. As with the evening rental period, you may decide on the exact start and finish time, with the exception that day rentals must end by 5:30 pm.
*Please note we do not book half or partial days.
Weekend Day Rental Fee: $160 + hst
All workshop bookings are made on a first-come basis. We request a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm a booking, and the balance is due by the day of your workshop. Please note that we do not handle workshop registration or related inquiries. If people contact us with specific questions about workshops, we refer them directly to the workshop facilitator/organizer.
To place a booking, please email us with the date(s) you are interested in so that we may check the availability, or to suggest an alternate date if necessary. The further ahead you are able to book, the better your chance of getting your preferred date. Please include a telephone number that we may contact you at, and also indicate whether or not you are interested in advertising your workshop or event in our newsletter and website.

If you wish to place a workshop ad in our monthly newsletter and on our website, please send your ad copy in the body of an email. Please note that advertising is completely optional, but is available if you wish to advertise to our network via our e-list, printed newsletter and website.
Workshop Ads are a maximum of 100 words, and must include the following information:
1. Title  2.Name of Facilitator  3. Date & Time 4. Registration Fee  5. Brief Description of the workshop or event  6.Contact Information for registration (telephone number and email).

Newsletter Ad Fee: $45 + hst

 The Fleishman Gallery is located at the back of Wonderworks. The gallery is used in 3 main ways: as an active exhibition space, as a rentable workshop facility, and as host to community events such as book launches, readings, musical performances, film screenings and other gatherings.
