A guardian of the home, similar to the Sheela-Na-Gig tradition in Europe. She is a protective Goddess, warding off evil spirits or influences. She would have been placed over the doorway to a home to help keep family members safe.
This flat relief sculpture is 8.5cm long and has a small hole in the back for wall mounting. These sculptures are handmade and variations in colouring are normal.
