Motherpeace Round Tarot Deck
This oversized, nontraditional deck was artfully illustrated in the late 1970's by Karen Vogel and Vickie Noble. Their artwork departs from more traditional tarot iconography and features predominantly female figures.
According to A Cultural History of Tarot, Motherpeace was designed to "fulfill a feminist agenda", with round cards to represent the Moon, "long associated with female energies and the Mother Goddess", and symbology drawn from cultures across the world.
The deck is overflowing with nature-based symbols and energies and the circular shape of the cards make for a truly unique experience.
