Abalone shells are a natural, practical and beautiful vessel to use for energy clearing when burning herbal sticks or loose herbs, such as White Sage
To use the shell, simply place a small amount of dried herbs in the shell. Light the herbs and blow the flame out so the herbs start to produce smoke. May also be used as a holder for larger herb bundles and palo santo wood.
We do not recommend using the shell with charcoal (the type used for burning our hand-blended incense or resin, as they heat up considerably and can crack the abalone shell)
