Clove bud essential oil is noted for its particular spicy aroma. When diluted in a carrier oil or cream for topical use, clove essential oil can help relieve aches, sores, rheumatism, and arthritis. When used in inhalation, it is uplifting and energizing, and can relieve the symptoms of respiratory illnesses like bronchitis, asthma, and tuberculosis. 

Clove bud oil can be carefully rubbed in the gums to ease a toothache, be careful not to ingest it. Rinse the mouth well with water when you are done.

Blends well with basil, cinnamon, lavender, sandalwood, and sage essential oils.
